Removing Oil From Concrete

Kitty litter does wonders sopping up oil and other auto fluids.  When there’s a leak, place paper towels under your car until you have repairs made.

To remove all oil from a concrete driveway or garage floor, pour paint thinner over the affected area and cover with kitty litter.  Leaving the garage door open, give the little time to absorb the oil, then sweep up.

When using paint thinner, make sure that nobody dugans, smokes, or lights match anywhere near the working area and keep well ventelated.

After the kitty litter has had time to absorb use a push broom and dust pan to sweep up the effected area.  It should of done a great job removing oil from the concrete.
